In Greek Agni means "pure" and this describes the bay perfectly. It is not a 'resort' as there are just three Tavernas and a couple of local buildings. Mainly hired motorboats reach the bay, although there is a narrow road and car parking these days. Yachts and large motor cruisers often frequent the bay as the culinary delights of the Taverns of Agni are famous. This is the perfect holiday location and an idyllic retreat setting.

 

The accommodation is of the highest standard and the beach here is white-pebble shelving into the bluest of seas. A small coastal path takes you north via Yaliskari beach in the next bay (another delightful traffic-free bay) over the headland to Kalami in around 15 minutes walking.
